Fibromyalgia's Grip over life

Fibromyalgia May Rob You of Life, But CCC Gives It Back

My life is a mess, and my body too. I struggle to walk, to roll over in bed, to clean my teeth, to undo a bra. I am in constant pain, and my muscles feel so locked. I have tried every diet, physio, chiropractor, even a dentist to put a smile back on my face, but I feel I’ve lost my life.

Strangely, Jenny cried no tears.

This is an all too common story that FM sufferers share. But surrounded by others in CCC, their brave and courageous fighting spirits connect. They share recipes, counsel one another, and refer each other to holistic practitioners.

“If I plan to come, my pain is twice as bad, so I just surprise myself, mostly through anger, and I end up here most weeks.”

All loneliness sufferers are reminded to put a bravery star on their calendars to watch the stars connect because they are the stars.

Steven Bartlett said, “When the pain of staying the same becomes more painful than the pain of trying something new, then that is when change will happen.”
